Candie Payne I need help! I am waiting for disablity and have been working on that for over a year. I cannot work. My husband has recently over come some medical problems enough to get back to work and after 150 online applications still is unemployed. I have four adult children I brought here with me in hope of new opportunities ...for them. We are homeless and about to be in our van after christmas, no family interested in helping us and no friends in the area. I don't qualify for any type of welfare other than Food stamps because my kids are adults and I don't know where to turn as Monterey County is short on all funds and has no help available. I have five individuals ready to work. I just need a hand. Anything that might help. I don't even know where to turn at this point.
