I spent Halloween viewing this very necessary film...it inspires terror...our lack of awareness, our ignorance...but hope too...that with a change of mind, things may change...

A Berry Good Thing!
GUILT FREE version of Starbuck's Strawberries & Cream. You can make in your own home. Save time, money and calories with this awesome recipe!

Ingredients:

2/3 cup frozen strawberries (just plain-NOT in syrup!)

5 oz. light vanilla soy milk

2 tsp. Fat Free French Vanilla Coffee-mate powder (dissolved in an... oz of warm water)

1 oz. Sugar Free Torani Strawberry Syrup

3 Splenda packets

3 large ice cubes

2 tbsp. Fat Free Reddi-Wip

Place all of the ingredients in blender, except for the whipped cream. Blend on high speed for 30-45 seconds. Pour, and top with Fat Free Reddi-Wip. Strawberrylicious!

Serving Size: 12 oz. with whipped topping

Calories: 119

Fat: 1g

Sodium: 102mg
Carbs: 21g

Fiber: 2g
Sugar: 14g
Protein: 4g

Strawberry Limeade Slush

Limeade Base (make first)

2 1/2 Cups Water
1 1/4 cups sugar
1/2 teaspoon finely shredded lime peel
1 1/4 cups lime juice

1.
For a limeade base, in a saucepan heat and stir water and sugar over
medium heat till sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat; cool 20 minutesAdd peel and juice to sugar mixture. Pou...r into a jar, cover and refrigerate for up to 3 days.

To Create Strawberry Limeade:

For
each serving, in a blender container combine 1/2 cup frozen unsweetened
strawberries, 1/3 cup limeade base, and 1 tablespoon sugar. Blend till
smoothwith blender running, add 1/2 cup ice cubes, 1 at a time,
through opening in lid till mixture becomes slushy. Pour into a tall
glass & enjoy!

You could also use lemons for this recipe
instead of limes, and if you would like to make just a lime/lemonade
add equal parts of water to the base.
