It’s a day to play with classic and timeless toys like yo-yos, Slinky’s, Etch-A-Sketches, top spinners, hula hoops, and more. Children can play and learn from the best, and try to beat several national nostalgic toy champions, such as Tim George, Etch-A-Sketch champion from Columbus, and Mike Hoyt, Columbus top spinnin...g champion. Clifford, The Big Red Dog, will also be on-hand that day to meet and greet guests and have an opportunity for a holiday photo.

I feel like I’m still learning what the “road life” of an Outreach Educator entails. Sometimes, it is so much fun I can’t believe I’m getting paid to have fun with kids while they learn. Every day, I learn lessons that I feel I could only learn on the road both in and out of schools.
