CREDO Mobile Sick of the big banks? Here's an idea for a New Year's resolution: move your money to a community bank. Watch the video below and then find a community bank near you at http://moveyourmoney.info/

www.youtube.com
JUST BEFORE CHRISTMAS, a few friends were having dinner wondering what personal actions they could take to help limit the power of the big banks and create a more sane, stable financial system. How, they wondered, could they help end the era of Too Big To Fail? The financier at the table recommended...

CREDO Mobile Stop Monsanto before it's too big to fail by telling the Obama Administration to enforce our nation's antitrust laws today! The Department of Justice is taking official public comment on this issue through Dec. 31.

Today only a handful of corporations control the food that we eat. After decades of unchecked mergers and lax enforcement of our nation’s antitrust laws, these large multinational corporations have obtained excessive market power, which harms family farmers and consumers.

Karl Rove is an outspoken opponent of same-sex marriage, citing "5,000 years of understanding the institution of marriage" as his justification. He also famously engineered multiple referenda to incorporate a ban on same-sex marriage into various states' constitutions in 2004 in order to ensure tha...

Males repudiating sex? Who? When? Where? A few who chose to wear silk dresses and patent shoes, perhaps, but "the male of the species" ?? Not even close.

You can repudiate sex without necessarily being able to forget about it (impossible for the continuation of the species!), and the objection to sex and nature in the extreme fundamentalist religious persuasion does in fact seem to emphasize (at the very least!) the possibility and promise of a transcendental afterlife to the immanent divinity and ... See Moreinnate value, worth, and respect that should be given to nature and sex, as well as women. It does seem that repressive fundamentalist religions that justify war and environmental degradation through Bible passages and narrow readings of history and philosophy also denigrate and diminish the value, worth, and respect that should be given to women as equals of men; this a sad state of affairs all-too-often the case in patriarchal extremist religious groups and cultures.

about 90% of the young people that were "energized" as you put it to vote for Obama, did so simply because he was black. I said it, it is the truth. Call me a hater but the stats don't lie. Also about 90% of them had ABSOLUTELY NO CLUE WHAT HIS POLICIES WERE. Howard Stern proved that by interviewing people who claimed to be Obama supporters then said they supported most of McCain's policies.....LOL. Only voted for the black guy.

Dear Scott Caskey: That would rate as the stupidest statement I have ever read (if I hadn't read the Bible a few hundred times). Remember, the things you write here you cannot erase. With that in mind, you should start paying attention to the facts before signing your name to these posts. A list of Mr. Obama's supporters around the world reads ... See Morelike a who's-who of the world's best and brightest. Absolutely the finest examples of refined thought and ethics humankind has ever offered. And here, I'm not only talking about Mr. Obama's contemporaries, but all great men throughout history. He could easily hold court (scratch that, "preside" over court) of the greatest minds in history. Barrack Hussein Obama is among history's intellectual elite. George W. Bush, on the other hand, was a failure as a president and a human being. He was a simple-minded degenerate, the kind you would expect to see hiding behind a tree in the park, "Eyeing little girls with bad intent" as Ian Anderson likes to say. Ask yourself this, if you had to relinquish your car keys to George W. Bush, Holiday Inn Express parking valet, would you be able to do so without genuine concern? I don't think so. He made the United States the laughing stock of the world, engaging us in gunboat diplomacy and god superstitions. For Make-Believe God's sake, Bush had people praying in the White House! Obama may claim to be a Christian, but at least he has strong moral convictions despite interference from his own "Braingod." (Braingod is a term I coined to describe people's "God" which is a belief in their minds, rather than an actual thing that they think a "God" is.
