The Dave Schmitt Construction Company hired the Jaycees to provide entertainment at their Year End party. It was a great time. We provided Craps, Roulette, Black Jack, and Chuck-A-Luck.
By doing these events, we are able to generate revenue for our events we provide.

The Jaycees will be having our final M-Night for the year this month! We will be having a wine tasting and a bit of education on each wine. Hopefully you'll find something delicious for your holiday dinners! We will also take time to cover some great info for new members, and everyone who comes will get a neat party fa...vor. Come and learn about the Jaycees!

Linn County - The Cedar Rapids Jaycees are pleased to announce Christmas To...y Shop’s “Stuff a Truck” event at Lindale Mall, Sunday, December 6th from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Shoppers are encouraged to bring new, unwrapped toys to help the Jaycees “Stuff a Truck” for a good cause.
This event, sponsored by The Cedar Rapids Jaycees, The Salvation Army, and local moving company Two Men and A Truck, has been coordinated to benefit this year’s Christmas Toy Shop. Supporters can also help kick off Sunday’s “Stuff a Truck” event by attending the annual Fire and Ice Parade at 6 p.m. on Saturday night in downtown Cedar Rapids. Toy drive organizers will be participating in the parade with a Christmas Toy Shop float.
Christmas Toy Shop is a project run locally through a partnership of the Jaycees, The Salvation Army, The Toys for Tots Foundation, and other community organizations and businesses. The Cedar Rapids Jaycees started organizing Christmas toy programs in 1942. The goal of this year's drive is to collect and distribute toys to make the holidays a little brighter for over 1,500 families in the Cedar Rapids area.
Toy collection officially started November 9th and will continue until December 11th. Collection boxes can be found at over 65 sites throughout the Cedar Rapids area. The Cedar Rapids Junior Chamber (Jaycees) is civic organization comprised of young professionals between the ages of 21 and 40. Cedar Rapids Jaycees There are still several opportunities to become involved in this year's Toy Shop. December 14th we will be transferring everything from our sorting site to Hawkeye Downs - volunteers are needed throughout the day who are willing to do some heavy lifting.

Cedar Rapids Jaycees This year the Jaycees and the Cedar Rapids Ice Arena have partnered to bring about a Hockey Shots competition at 10:30 on November 28th. We need some more Jaycee volunteers to help run this event. If interested email president@cr-jaycees.com.

Cedar Rapids Jaycees New Member Orientation will take place at 6 pm on Tuesday Nov 17th (right before GMM) and pizza will be provided to those that attend! New Member Orientation is recommended for anyone who has joined in the last 3-4 months.
