yes in alex tanguay anyone he can produce if they have right situation remember back when he was a flame but under keenan could not do that so think bring back play on the top line but all depends if can get him to take a pay cut in order sign him under cap they have

well not true if i remember was his contract flames could not afford he did not request trade he had one year left on contract was why his salary was bit to hi at that time if i remember the situation was not wanting out calgary who did they trade for him from montreal draft pick causesalary dump was the problem then

Kelly The more and more I think about it, I think that the finals this year are going to be the Flames vs. Bruins, I think both teams are going to be monsters, especially come playoff time, cause it seems to me with a sutter behind the bench, the flames are that much better in the playoffs! they will resort back to thier defense first style, and now they have the unlimited potentials of awsome young defensemen. But you also cant rule a good offense out either, I think bourque, moss, and maybe glencross are going to have breakthrough seasons, i can even picture bourque getting in the 65-70 pt. mark on a possible line with Iggy and Jokinen!
Bruins are going to be strong this year to, and they still are slightly underated in a confrence with Pitts. and the Caps. but they have too much talent thats going to be hitting its potential to be in the shadows, its going to be fun to watch!

well wait and see about that flames are better now this time around when the season starts year ago keenan coach was not good compare that to brent sutter he will get the flames to play defense first approach and pratice the powerplay and so on canucks lost couple players ohlund and labarbra so who know win the cup why play and do hope flames win the cup this coming year that be great

Justin Barnett flames are going to rule this season coming up and it's going to be awesome to watch...hopefully we get a good back up goalie cause kipper doesn't need to play so many games like in 04 when we went to the cup he didnt play more then 65 games and we need a good back up goalie and hopefully we can get bert back if not we better sign someone to fill in his spot or bring up someone from our minor team to fit in but i think we're going to be deadly this season specially on d

agreed, i liked jaffery when he played here in winnipeg (Woo Winnipeg i live here to man ha ha) but i do believe he will be able to provide more offense for the team, and with Regehr, phaneuff, and bouwmeester on the blue line, gonna be siccck
