Multi-tasking is making the workplace more and more stressful. I'm doing the work of three people at my job now, and they have the nerve to make comments on productivity! I'm convinced most employers don't want workers to stay any measurable amount of time, so they won't have to pay premiums, bonuses, or retirement benefits.

Unfortunately instead of laying off the most recently hired workers, some companies lay off the workers with more seniority because they are making a higher salary, leaving less experienced workers with more work, more stress and less money.
