California Waterfowl Some of our members have expressed concern about Federal legislation called the Blair Holt Firearm Licensing and Record of Sale Act of 2009. This is legislation we are watching carefully, as it could impact firearms we use to hunt ducks and geese. Currently, the legislation has NO co-sponsors, and it does not have a ...realistic chance of moving out of committee. Be assured we will keep an eye on it. It is not a hoax, but it also is not currently a threat to our hunting heritage.

Great location(s), great guides, ducks and kids make for a GREAT TIME at the California Waterfowl Youth Hunt program. Some stats from last weekend at Grizzly Island Ranch, Bird Average 1.9, Total Ups 109, Ups per hunter 16, Shots Taken 197, Average shots per hunter 29.
