Audrey I really do think God has a great sense of humor, and I just love how He "gets" me!! I'm a fairly new Christian, and go the CC of the Finger Lakes (God Bless the AMAZING Gallatin family!!!!), and tonight, after dwelling on it for a week, I didn't have the courage to stand up in front of everyone at church and express ...what I am thankful for. I had it all planned out in my head and heart, but didn't do it. When I got home, feeling very disappointed in myself, I just happen to see this link on a friends wall and had to laugh. It's almost as though He's telling me "it's ok, you weren't ready quite yet, try typing it out on facebook since you are on there all the time anyway, and we'll try again another time"
Michael Clark Hi Everyone, I just joined today. Looking forward to meeting new people. Can someone tell me when Calvary Chapel was in the movie theater in San Diego? That sounds so familiar to me and wondering if I haven't come across Calvary Chapel before. Thanks. Michael
Joyce Gaddis My first experience with Calvary Chapel was in San Diego in the early 80's. I was in the Navy and not walking with the Lord. The pastor was Mike McIntosh (sp?) and the church met in an old movie theater if memory serves me correctly. A life changing experience for sure. I continued to walk my own path for another t...en years, but the teachings I received there were planted deep in my heart. I thank God for His longsuffering mercy and His planting of a Calvary Chapel here in Trenton, Maine where I fellowship now.

Jackie Hinton Don't attend a Calvary Chapel at the moment as i'm unwell and unable to travel far. So if ever anyone thinks of starting up a Calvary Chapel in Morden/Wimbledon, UK that would be an answer to prayer!
