The Grascals appeared at Oakland Community College, Lila Jones-Johnson Theater on Friday, October 16, 2009. Although this was not their first appearance in the OCC Bluegrass Series, I believe it is the first time they have appeared at the Royal Oak Campus.
David Davis and the Warrior River Boys appeared at the Glass City Opry, Maumee Ohio on October 12, 2009. The Monday evening show drew a good crowd, perhaps larger than I had expected. This may be due to Dave’s popularity in the area. The shows at Glass City have been going on for a while...

We are having a nice time here in Vine Grove. There has been a bit of rain, but the festival committee added a second big tent, and the crowd was high and dry last night.

Bluegrass Revival, a Michigan group, performed at the Manton Harvest Festival on Sunday, September 6, 2009. Manton has built a wonderful pavilion in the park downtown, and this year’s improvements included new benches in the viewing area.
