I was an early advocate for UDL and am an unabashed fan of CAST. . . disappointing, then, that it appears that all but two of the newly named advisors are associated with special education, or are leaders in policy development for children and youth with disabilities and their families. Where is the "universal" part of this?

I am sorry to see this. SPED is about diversity and team building for children's well-being. This mantra must be the same from the IEP team to the heights of the ivory towers and the District of Columbia.
