Cerise Movie

An off-beat dramedy, Cerise is John T. Trigonis' first fan-funded short film about a former spelling bee champion who is haunted by the word that took him down.

On February 3rd, we launched a fundraising campaign using the crowdfunding website IndieGoGo.com to raise $5,000 to cover production costs, specifically payment of the sound recordist ('cause great audio is as important as great images!), transportation and catering costs (the best way to a crew member's heart is through the stomach!). Here's our pitch video for this campaign:

In less than two months, and with the help of 109 backers and plenty of other supporters, we made $500 over our $5,000 goal!

Cerise is now currently in pre-production and will be shooting in May with a total budget of $15,500 ($10,000 raised by John himself from teaching as ~~an adjunct~~ a freelance professor in four different NJ universities and colleges).
