This is a journey to amplify the imagination, through light and dark, melodic euphoria and abstract psychosis.

The mutant gene of South African Psytrance that brings with it a contemporary Cyberpunk feel and aesthetic. Influenced by the Darkwave and Industrial music of acts like Covenant, Diary Of Dreams, Hocico, Psyclon 9, Combichrist and Unter_Null, Chemogen has made a distinct presence in Cape Town's world-renowned Psy Trance scene.

Chemogen first appeared on NYE 2007 and has since played numerous DJ sets around Cape Town while live material was revealed as part of Unlimited Addition, with fellow DJ/Producer Chaos Defined. In 2009, the first solo live set was unleashed.

Chemogen signed to One Foot Groove in 2007 and later became affiliated with Israeli party crew, Enigma Family, in 2009.

"Chemogen and Chaos Defined are two well-known Cape Town psytrance DJs. Each of them comes from a musical background with Chemogen's experience in the goth/industrial scene and Chaos' trance roots. They are currently working in the studio on a live set to be debuted at this party.
