Margaret Coleman Taylor I love Eastern Kentucky. I grew up there and go home as often as I can. The last flood really caused some damage to homes up on Pond Creek. Scary stuff! You cannot find better folks anywhere!

Christian Appalachian Project Over the next year, church and school groups will be renovating Camp Andrew Jackson. Though the camp will be suspended in 2010, we're hoping to have it looking pretty spiffy for 2011 and for many years to come.

I remember the wonderful and peace filled days when we would go to Camp AJ on Sunday's for a fun day of boating, cookouts, and many different games. Truly the Lord has blessed CAP from its foundation in 1964. Want to feel real good about yourself, if you can get involved in an organization that may only require a few hours of your time a week. I... Read More assure you what you get out of it is MUCH MORE than you ever put in. Just a warm fuzzy feeling in your heat that we are all dependant upon one another and we become and shape our character on the small difference that we make when we touch other lives even in the smallest ways and how precious is our out-pouring of ourselves to the service of others.
God is GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Christian Appalachian Project

Christian Appalachian Project Got our first donation for America's Giving Challenge! But we'll need quite a few more to win the $50,000.

Please help CAP by reaching out to your friends, family and networks. Remember, its not the size of the donation, its the number of people who give that counts!

If this is your first qualifying donation today, it will count toward the daily and overall awards. Thanks for your donation!
