Commonwealth Foundation Supreme Court says Rendell has to pay state workers/hostages during budget impasse

www.pennlive.com
HARRISBURG, Pa. — Pennsylvania’s highest court ruled Monday that the state constitution does not prohibit the governor from continuing to employ and pay state employees during a budget impasse.

This impasse is the result of the obstination of House Democrats in PA. Since they took the speakership things have only gotten measurably worse. Mr. McCall is an atrocious leader and we all see that Mr. DeWeese is too concerned with having state employees cater to his every personal need to worry about budgets being passed on time.

Unfortunately, this has affected more than the puppy mills..and for some reason, the hunting dogs are exempt, which doesn't make sense...if it's cruel to be in a cage of a certain size, than that should apply to any dog, not just puppy mills, but pets and hunting dogs...I think tougher laws are great, but this turned into a witchhunt and only ... Scott.... any form of government intrusion is unacceptable if you truely cherish liberty. If it concerns the rights of a person trying to make a living, breeding a dog, working overtime, voting, getting a licence to hunt, whatever it is,, they want to control everything we do.

The Earth is over 4 billion years old. How long have we been actually taking global temperatures, what 200 years? What everyone seems to miss is that 200 years is like a nanosecond in the history of the earth. Even if global temperatures have risen 1 degree in 200 years the idea that one, it is man made, and two it is some sort of problem is ... See Morequite illogical. It is like putting a 17 year old in intensive care for his entire lifetime because the first time you took his temperature ever it was at 99.7 degrees.
