Are you an Undergraduate student at Concordia University?
Do you support the mandate & work that the Co-op Bookstore strives to accomplish?
Please take the time to vote during this months "CSU By-Elections & Referendum" taking place on Tuesday November 24th, Wednesday November 25th and Thursday November 26th 2009. Pollin...g booths will be located at multiple spots on both the Downtown and Loyola campuses. (For more information regarding the elections and booth locations, please go to: http://www.csu.qc.ca)
If you have questions or comments in regards to the Co-op Bookstore and its bid to become a Fee Levy group at Concordia University, please do not hesitate to contact us! coopbookstore@gmail.com or stop by the store. We'll be glad to clarify and answer any question you may have.
THE QUESTION:
"Do you agree with the Concordia Community Solidarity Co-op Bookstore's (CCSCB) application for a $0.09 per credit per student fee levy, annual adjusted to the Consumer Price index of Montreal calculated by the CSU, to support the services the Co-op Bookstore provides?
The CCSCB is a not-for-profit co-operative bookstore, founded in 2002 as a student initiative. It provides new and used books at prices below suggested retail, with the mission of making education more accessible.
Every student can request a full-refund of the fee from CCSCB, which will be collected in accordance with the University's tuition and refund policy."
We hope that you will VOTE YES!
Many Thanks,
Larissa & The worker-members of the Co-op BookstoreRead More

Help wanted! If you have the time, could you fill out a 5-10 minute survey for my research methods class at Concordia? I would really really appreciate it. It's totally anonymous - there is no chance your information will be passed on to me or anyone in the class. At no point will you be asked for your email or phone n...umber or name. This survey is only for English Canadians living in Montreal who went to primary or secondary school outside of Quebec. Sorry, but if you went to high school in Quebec, please do not do this survey. However, if you are so inclined, you could help me out by passing on the survey URL to your English Canadian friends currently living in Montreal via facebook or email. I'm hoping to get around 300 responses. Any help would be greatly appreciated. To access the survey, please go to:
