The relentless mis-information campaign alone is enough for people of good conscience to look further into this issue for themselves... government would never lie, people need to grow up out of their childhood fantasies.

IT IS TIME TO COME OUT OF THE CANNABIS CLOSET AND SUPPORT MR. JAMES PITTS!!
Mr Pitts, the SAN DIEGO prosecutor who smoked pot did nothing wrong.
I hope Mr. Pitts gains the courage to stand up and speak out. I hope Mr. Pitts has heard of LEAP. (Law Enforcement Against Prohibition). The deputy district attorney is not ...the only one who uses marijuana. This is no big shock. So do police officers, the families and friends of police officers, the family and friends of the mayor, school teachers, computer programmers, attorneys, government workers, and many other educated professionals. Marijuana is a non-toxic alternative to dangerous pharmaceuticals. Any intelligent person with a condition that may receive benefit from this PLANT is right for at least trying it legally with a doctors recommendation

Law Enforcement Against Prohibition Believe it or not, the DEA's website still says, "The American Medical
Association recommends that marijuana remain a Schedule I controlled
substance." Actually, no they don't, as of last week. It just goes to show how our opponents will ignore any truths that they find inconvenient. http://www.justice.gov/dea/ongoing/marijuana.html

It amazes me. I love my country and my law enforcment, because they are there to help and are only doing their jobs. But I do not and can not trust my government. Not for any crazy consperosy theory crap, its just that there is such a total and complete uses of common sense. That is what happens when you chase the almighty dollar. What ever money they lose from persuing marijuana on a criminal level, they make up for ten fold with money from pharmacutical companies.
