That would be interesting to find out, exactly what the average smoker uses per month to get some clear number as to what we're really missing out on.

I'm glad to see that there actually are some members of law enforcement more interested in policing real criminals like they should be, instead of persecuting good people just for associating with an herb that God gave us, and said that it was good.
Want to relieve the over crowding of the prison systems? Legalize it a...nd release all the inmates convicted on marijuana charges!!!
Want to stimulate the economy? Legalize it!!!

House Resolution 1395 doesnt exists in PA general assembly's website, and HB1395 is a bill related to state govt employment. And if it IS a resolution, its probably not binding law. Have anymore information about this?

The description of this bill seems fairly deceptive. It says "Providing for the medical use of marijuana; and repealing provisions of law that prohibit and penalize marijuana use."

However I see no language in this bill that would repeal any current law or penalties. If someone wants to give it a look and explain, Id appreciate it.

Privatized prisons are business. What is business supposed to do? Grow & thrive right? What does a private prison business need to grow & thrive? It needs live human bodies & the laws that put & keep these live human bodies in their private prison business. Does the DEA REALLY want to STOP the flow of illegal drugs? Think about it. Its a no brainer. Right & wrong add up to very little in this world...

LEAP is one of the best organizations for legalizing I think. LEO has the most experience in the War on Drugs, and LEO is ALWAYS the loudest voice of opposition when drug reform laws (especially cannabis decrim/medical laws) are put before legislators and voters. And who better to counter their lies than other members ...of law enforcement? Hope to see more of a LEAP presence in the future at town hall meetings, legislative hearings, public protests, and the like. Nice being friends LEAP =) hope we can work together in the future to end this massive failure known as the War on Drugs.Read More
