Judges should be held to the highest standards possible for impartiality. Whether it's a criminal or civil case, or a supreme court issue, from the lowest-level district magistrate to the highest courts, anyone standing before a judge should have no fear of back-office deals, paybacks for campaign donations, or any Facebook or other social media connections.
