D'Oliva Olive Oil is in the ground! The trees were planted on October 10, 2009, with hopes of a first harvest in 3-years. The aim is to produce a Tuscan style high quality extra virgin olive oil. The orchard is in Sunol, California.

D'Oliva Olive Oil I know I'm biased (this is Roy typing), but why would anyone ruin good olive oil by adding balsamic vinegar? Makes no sense to me.

Scott and I are interested in learning about the owl boxes. Do they keep the bird population down??? Very interesting. :-)

The boxes will support barn owls, which eat moles, voles, and other rodents at night. On top of some owl boxes will be raptor perches so they can hunt during the day. Since the rodents can harm the roots and bark of the trees, this is a great way to control them. John Schuster's website is www.wildwingco.com.
