Celebrate the DKNY Soho Wall!
Painted in 1992, the DKNY wall at the corner of West Houston and Broadway has served as the unofficial entry in New York’s Soho neighborhood. The painted wall is based on a Peter Arnell design, featuring a view of the lower Manhattan skyline, including the Twin Towers and Statue of Liberty. Previous DKNY walls decorated the New York City landscape at the Chelsea Market and along 8th Avenue, facing DKNY’s corporate headquarters. The DKNY Wall in Soho is the last surviving wall from the original series.
Sadly, after 17 years, the DKNY Soho Wall is coming down – the result of a recent sale of the property. Help us celebrate the historic New York City icon by sharing your stories and pictures with us!
