Downtown Events Group It's official! The streets are closed and flags are up! Set up for the World Food Festival has begun. Join us this weekend, Oct. 9 - 11 for international cuisine from 36 local restaurants and food vendors, live cooking demonstrations, live music, international & craft beers, jazz and wine pavilion, a Marketplace, and local non-profit organizations! It all happens in the East Village in Downtown Des Moines.
