I was going thru some old magazines & found this. I ♥ the border on the pottery and who knows where the design may show up - in some beadwork or as a quilting design.

I am the same. I see a lovely design on material, in a picture, a rug, anywhere and I immediately think of a quilt design or a hooked rug pattern. The pottery design is especially nice.

Dale Anne Potter STUDIO PAGE had started working on a piece inspired by this old map of our area.....set it aside & now I found the sketches & spent some time playing with more sketches, even watercolour washes over resists....soon I'll be able to sit straight at the sewing machine so will have all these ideas to work on!!!

I'm a newbie in this area. Bought THE COMPLETE ARTIST'S WAY; am on page 93 now. I just started to do Morning Pages, but am not consistent yet. When I do write on the Morning Pages or my journal, the time flies by; this is not a good thing on the days when I have to get to work.

I hear you Kathleen, when I worked full-time I used to have to get up an hour earlier so that I could do my morning pages.....I remember a time I was on a Trade show hop with a friend, in New Mexico, Oregon and then Winnipeg, Manitoba.....we both got up & the first thing either of us would do is get the coffee pot working & we'd both do our morning pages, then go down for breakfast.

Dale Anne Potter STUDIO PAGE We had between 50 and 60 people come thru our studios yesterday...no exact numbers as sometimes there were too many to count while talking to people. Some from as far as Regina and Maple Creek so a GREAT cross section and everyone LOVED the idea!!!

in Ontario where I hale from they have studio tours all the time. They are a total success year after year. I am actually hopeing to head to New Mexico in about a year for a vacation and hope to do the highway 28 artisans

We went with a rack card this year......if in the future, we have more artists, we'll have to work on a brochure.
Since its our first year, we have no idea how many people to expect. Forecast is for nice weather.
