Whats the EU given us ? We support all the ailing economies like Portugal Cyprus Italy And the republic of Ireland and blow loads of our billions on their road projects. Whats the EU given us . . . Bulgarians sleeping rough in heston service station at eight am this morning ! They will be off to Slough finding a kid on their way to get a free house. Will upload photos later, however that probably breaches their human rights !

The danger, which Thatcher foresaw, is a united Europe under the thumb of a re-emergent Germany. The French are gonna be the least of our worries in this eurosoviet union. The real worry is Germany. Their national identity is returning since re-unification; how long before their will to power. They wouldn't need to even invade France this time. All they'd need is a idict to change the language and street names into German.

What's so wrong about a referendum? Even if it's merely symbolic (which I'm not sure it would be), at least you'd be satisfying your cast iron pledge. Dan Hannan is my leader. If he walks, so do I.

Everyone goes on the negative about being in the EU but can anyone explain what we would achieve if we were not i the EU! and how would we benefit in being in the EU? People are not explaining what the Pros and Cons are! We have the right to know!

This Europe thing is so boring. Yes Britian is a country in Europe and not North America.

Stuart, i think most people would rather be associated to the Banana Republic than Europe. . . At least their economy is stable and corrupt to the tune of One Billion. . . Not a hundred, plus the fact when we go to war, they have an excuse not to help. . . Unlike France !
