DELIVERED is wrapped and Post Production is progressing. We are 80% through the rough assembly, to make sure that we don't need to re-shoot anything. Then it's on to cutting it down to size, a big focus on telling a great story.

Delivered Michael found this great ad for the '67 Mustang, the car featured in DELIVERED. This car is still clearly a classic. All during shooting, it turned people's heads and we know that fans all over the country are going to love the way the car looks in the film.

We are just finishing the rough assembly - it's about three hours long and now we will assess and start chopping. We have so much great material to work with that it's a really hard job. We're also working with our Composer and the score for the opening scene is amazing. Post production is still in the really early stages. Stay tuned here for news! --Linda

Recently had such a problem in post where we actually slightly under lit some interiors in an effort to create something intentionally dark and intimate. We are currently dancing with a compromise on the slight noise level, so will check out this "Neat Video" tool I think you called it; thanks

You won't be disappointed. The Pro version is only $99. You can imagine what it would cost to re-shoot the scene!

Delivered This morning, I'm watching Mustang commercials. The beautiful '67 Mustang featured in DELIVERED, thanks to Francis O'Toole, is a major icon in the film and our culture.

Editing is one of the most under-rated parts of filmmaking. How many Editors can you identify by name, even for the most famous movies? Yet as we work on DELIVERED it becomes increasingly clear that this is where the film takes on it's life, it's heart and soul. I've been thinking a lot about what makes a great movie..., what makes people connect to a film so strongly that they tell all their friends about it and remember and talk about it. I thought this article from Raindance really helped me think about these things.Read More

Here Here Linda so very true...it's where you truly express your point of view as an artist and give a unique stamp to your film, where you can manipulate the content to tell the story as straightforwardly as possible, and realize and communicate concept of vision/creation in full.

Delivered Watching the footage for the rough assembly brings back a lot of thoughts about how difficult some of the night shooting was - especially blocking scenes late into the night. --Linda

Delivered Great 1967 Ford Mustang Blog.

Source: 67mustangblog.com
Every week I read car reviews about the latest Porsche or Lamborghini that’s hit the street, but I always love it when I come across in depth reviews of our very own Eleanor and finding a good review of a 1967 Mustang is very hard to find. ...

Delivered Many people are asking me about using RED camera footage with Adobe. Most people still think that if you use the RED camera, you have to edit with Final Cut Pro. The link below explains it all way better than I can. If you are shooting RED, look closely at Adobe for your editing.

I personally HATE Final Cut Pro to edit, anyway. When the sequence gets many cuts, it won't platy unless you nest it, and that is the worst function EVER to come to the editing world. Cannot do a change without having to rerender the audio and the change you make will effect the original sequence. Nuts, huh? I'm switching back to Avid. If I'll need to conform to RAW later, it would be because a distributor will fork the cost. So I'm home free. I can edit with the most powerful and fun system.
