Thanks for coming to SA. My family had a good time despite the rain on Sunday. My daughter is in love with your pink and white plane, and all my kids love the video screens on the back of each head rest.

* Eastern L.I. Food Pantry Destroyed By Suspicious Fire *

Reporting, Hazel Sanchez

FARMINGDALE, N.Y. (CBS) ―

A suspicious fire destroyed a Long Island food pantry. With just two weeks before Thanksgiving, it couldn't have come at a worse time.

Authorities have boarded up the headquarters for Hope for the Future Ministries after the destructive blaze. The group has been giving hope to the less fortunate for more than 20 years.

On Sunday morning, someone set their headquarters on fire, and all of their donated goods were destroyed.

"We're trying to help people's quality of life, and for someone to be so cruel is beyond my comprehension," Pastor Diane Dunne, who founded Hope for the Future 22 years ago, said after her life's work went up in flames.

"There are so many people out of work, there are so many people that depend on us," Dunne said. "What do I tell them now? No turkeys? No presents? My heart's broken."

The fire destroyed more than $100,000 worth of donated food and paper goods. Year-round, Dunne's non-profit group distributes the food as groceries or hot meals for those in need, but now those frozen goods and refrigerated perishables have been wasted. They can't even cook meals in this kitchen anymore.

"All the shelves, all the freezers are stacked, going to the garbage," Dunne said. "That's a sin."

Suffolk County arson investigators say the blaze was no accident. They say someone broke the rear windows of the building to intentionally start the fire.

"They knew what they were doing – they knew what was in the building, so it could have been a previous, employee, someone with mental illness, we don't know," Dunne said. "But it was premeditated, and it was definitely arson."

Dunne believes someone may have been trying to hurt her, and in turn hurt thousands of innocent lives.

"How can you be so mean? How can you hurt innocent children?" Dunne said. "I have toys stored for Christmas. Now how do I do Christmas?"

Thankfully, the non-profit has insurance – but Dunne says they cannot buy everything in time, before their help is really needed for the holidays.

expense of the public. They must earn the right to dividends." I think that
statement right there goes hand in hand with deciding on Union representation.

Interesting quote. I have always thought that what goes hand in hand is management and labor treating each other like partners on the same team, treating each other like human beings and not $$$$$. Each has a responsibility to the other to make any entity successful. Too many times we see this game of chicken in pushing each other to the brink and almost devastating a company and people losing jobs. Not good for either general employees and management employees.

The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating how an international flight into Atlanta’s major airport landed on a taxiway instead of a runway early Monday. FAA spokeswoman Kathleen Bergen said Delta Fl...ight 60, from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, to Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, was cleared to land about 6:05 a.m. Monday on Runway 27R but landed instead on Taxiway M, which runs parallel to the runway. The flight had 194 passengers and crew aboard, according to CNN affiliate WXIA. No other aircraft were on the taxiway, and there was no damage to either the taxiway or the plane, a Boeing 767, Bergen said.

HEY DELTA WHATS GOING ON? ARE YOUR PILOTS IDIOTS?
