You know I have never been this disgusted in Tiger trade rumblings...Dombrowski is absolutely ignorant if he believes that by trading Curtis is a positive move for "OUR" organization. Curtis is clearly the "new face" of the Tigers we needed entering the 2000's, he keeps fans like myself buying season tickets on a regular. He holds himself as an ... See Moreoutstanding positive role model to our kids, true team leader, and community charity contributor. Every home game that I have attended, I have seen him as the quickest to exit the dugout and ready his position. Curtis has his Game Face on at all times and has never shown signs of "Giving Up", unlike others on the team. I would hope Dombrowski reads all these pleas from the fans and foundation supporters and reconsiders "ANY" offers that include Curtis. We need this guy and need him to continue to grow within our organization as one of the BEST center fielders in baseball history. If this is simply a need to open salary caps or give us shopping money then I suggest you, Dombrowski, spend a little more time watching from your booth. I hate to point fingers at anyone, Magglio Ordonez has shown plenty of signs of "LACK OF" motivation this last season. From lazy fielding, to early season hitting disappointments. Shop ORDONEZ, HUFF, WILLIS, BONDERMAN, LYON, ZUMAYA and Jim Leyland favorite RODNEY....BUT WHATEVER YOU DECIDE, DO NOT LET GO OF OUR NUMBER 1. You my friend are at risk of losing plenty of ticket holders & faith within "OUR" organization.

At least one Tiger is assured of some post season hardware. Placido Polanco won his second Gold Glove for excellence in the field of fielding.
