Dive Paradise The 1st Cozumel Ironman Triathlon is 1 day + a few hours away. More than 2000 athletes begin the ultimate endurance race at 7 AM Sunday. We'll be cheering these men and women as they race in our beautiful Caribbean waters and across our island, putting Cozumel in a positive global spotlight. If you're interested in com...peting in 2010, registrations open Monday, 11/30, and are expected to once again sell out quickly.

Dive Paradise Just think, you could be in Cozumel with us where Monday's going to be mostly sunny with a high of 81 degrees. We're counting down the days until Thanksgiving and next Sunday's 1st Cozumel Ironman.

Carnaval in Cozumel has become another wonderful reason to come diving with Dive Paradise. Diver who come seem to have such a great time, many make it an annual tradition - diving during the gorgeous days; festival, pageants, parade, dancing and more when you're NOT underwater and all evening.
From the official Carnaval... website, this event has been "passed down through many generations that celebrates a mixture of cultures that escaped to the warm embrace of Cozumel during the cold winter season. Dating back to the mid 1800's, Carnaval was started by young people dressed in vibrantly colorful costumes known as "Estudiantinas" or "Comparsas", who expresed themselves in the streets of Cozumel through the artform of dance, song, and fantasy."

Dive Paradise You don't have to go to Hawaii to see an Ironman Triathlon. Cozumel's hosting our first Thanksgiving weekend with festivities starting Thanksgiving Day and the actual Ironman kicking off Saturday, November 29, with the first wave hitting our beautiful water at 7 AM.
