Domus kids in our residential programs held their popular annual haunted house this weekend, gently scaring young children from around the city. There was even a coffin!

Domus hopes Halloween for *your* kids is as fun as it's been for ours...the young men who live with us residentially will welcome kids to their annual haunted house (pix tomorrow), and our CACC kids had one heck of a party!

Domus is grateful to our many friends at GE, including this GE Asset Management team who is setting up 30 donated computers to create a new computer lab. Thanks, Danette, for organizing!

Domus staffers read in today's NY Times that "federal officials say homelessness overall is expected to rise 10 to 20% this year." Here in Stamford, more and more teens come to us telling us they're couch-surfing or living in abandoned buildings. Unacceptable.

Domus staffers are saddened but not surprised by new US Census data showing poverty is signifcantly increased in Stamford and Fairfield County; 14.3% of children under 18 live in poverty. Morally, it's a must-do. Plus, fix it now, and save money later.
