Celebrating our past...

From our humble beginnings in 1974 to leading the nation in coordinating organ donors in 2008, we continue our enduring goal of saving lives through donation and transplantation.
To date, Gift of Life Donor Program has helped coordinate a remarkable 28,000 life-saving transplants along with hundreds of thousand of tissue transplants, all through the generosity of donors and their families.
This year, we will commemorate our 35th anniversary with a variety of special events and promotions. Join us in the celebrations, and do your part to help save lives by registering as an organ and tissue donor.

"The problem is that when a person receives the diagnosis that they need an organ transplant, the whole family experiences sudden changes in their lives. Every member of the family is affected emotionally, physically, spiritually and financially. The patient isn't the only member of the family involved."
