Like students everywhere, those in Luanne Goldsby's Employment Readiness course pack their bags well before class is over. But their reaction when Goldsby assigns them homework is a little different. They cheer, said Goldsby, an associate professor at Jefferson Community & Technical College.

Dena U of L is looking for kids with DS ages 3,4 and 5 if interested call Angie @ 852-4638. Its only for 2 days. Charlie just finished his today and had a really good time. They will look at their cognitive, linguistics and communicative abilities. You can also email her aejohns@louisville.edu They are looking for more local kids.

Down Syndrome of Louisville This Friday evening is the 9th Annual Jack O' Lantern Stroll to benefit Dreams with Wings. Come and Stroll through a glowing path of over 1,000 beautifully carved Jack O’ Lanterns while enjoying music, food and storytelling!

The event features Louisville’s Largest Pumpkin Pie, Trick or Treating for the kids, Craft Maki...ng, Radio Disney, Music, and spooking stories!
