Surfboard construction materials and process have not changed much over
the last 50 years in the broadest segment of the market. PU blanks and
polyester resins are some fairly detrimental materials to be using for
a product with such a short useful life. I've even heard that repairing
a dinged board is worse for the enviro...nment than replacing it.
Fundamentally, I think the best way forward is to create more durable
