Eastman alumni have won Grammy Awards, including Renée Fleming, Larry Combs, Mitch Miller, William Warfield, and Maria Schneider.

Composition graduates have won the Prix de Rome, Guggenheim Fellowships, the Bearns Prize, the Charles Ives Award, and major awards from ASCAP and BMI.
