I’m still spellbound by the new touring production of CHESS which I seen at its premier in Newcastle on Wednesday night. From beginning to end it is a feast for the eyes and the ears. The set and costumes are dazzling, the orchestrations beautiful and the performances amazing!
The lead performers are outstanding, but t...he entire ensemble leaves you dumbstruck by their ability to sing, dance, play a variety of different instruments and all from memory! They are on stage the whole time, with no music notation to read from – every note stored in their heads!
With the sumptuous score so beautifully orchestrated, songs sung with vocal perfection and the stage filled with delightful images, you can't help but watch and listen in amazement. Go see this production during its first few days at the Playhouse as you will be sure to want to see it again!

Anyone ordered a Live Card before? Am still waiting on mine a week later, just had to order the tickets for Hairspray without it as the avilabale tickets were getting worse and worse the longer I left it....I was just hoping to save a few pounds...almost £200 for 4 tickets is a lot when you have 3 young kids, lol! Ju...st wondering if anyone else has one and how long they waited for it and even better what it can be used for?
