Dr. Ralph Richter '44 named to LaRosa's High School Hall of Fame: "Richter was one of the top all-around athletes at Elder, having played
football, basketball and baseball in the 1940s. Basketball was his top
sport, and Richter was all-state as a senior.
Richter was among
the first University of Cincinnati basketball play...ers to top 1,000
career points, and he was honorable mention All-America. Richter became
an orthopedic surgeon and was an Elder team doctor for more than 40
years."

Elder Panthers QB Mark Miller '10 named Enquirer Division 1 Player of the Year for the second consecutive year. Miller finished his career at Elder as the school's all time leader for most touchdown passes (56), most yards passing (5,872), most passes attempted (655), and most passes completed (435). Elder grad Kyle Rudolph, a Notre Dame sophomore is among Notre Dame players providing input on the search to replace Charlie Weis. Rudolph's father, Dan, believes Brian Kelly is Notre Dame's guy. “My gut feeling is that he is the guy,” Dan Rudolph said. “I’ve kind of been thinking that all along.”
