Dear English Hill residents.
Yesterday morning at approximately 7:10am three Langtree seventh grade kids, one of which was my daughter, were walking along 172nd avenue between Langtree’s south entrance and the entrance to Rosewood to their school bus stop when a car, travelling southbound on 172nd swerved a few feet acr...oss the fog line and struck one of the kids. The car did not stop and in fact did not even slow down to see if the person they struck was OK. The child was hit in the arm by the car. The child that was struck suffered extreme bruising and swelling of her arm but is otherwise physically OK. Obviously all three kids and their parents are quite shaken up about this incident. As well, any parent that has children walking along 172nd should be quite shaken by this. There is more information on this.
