We will host Jelly! Chattanooga from 10-5 with free work space, Wi-fi and coffee. It's a great opportunity for in-depth business networking and coaching on how to use social media for business for all ages.

The state of Tennessee has the most hosted events for GEW in the nation. There's a reason we're known as the volunteer state. http://www.localxxl.com/us/local_news/tennessee/tennessee-tops-states-in-activities-for-global-entrepreneurship-week-1258064649/

I don't offer it directly to employees as I have found that it is significantly more advantageous for the business and employees to be forwarded to our insurance agent to purchase individual polices at great savings to both.

I went into 2008 with approximately 8 lines of credit available. Came out of '08 with one - deeply slashed and a higher rate of interest on it. Ended up having some serious battles with the CCs/Banks.

They fail to understand that small businesses run on CASH FLOW. The Credit Lines allow us to float the business while cash is flowing in. When ... Read Morethose lines are cut, and they DEMAND or FORCE immediate payments, it inhibits the ability to keep the business afloat. Thus, they single handedly sink sometimes perfectly good businesses. Yet, these morons believe that process will somehow cause us to be better able to pay what we owe them?! What good minded business person is going to send the little CASH they are receiving to a bank who isn't going to open up the line of credit when a payment is made? It's like throwing that cash into the wind - useless, absolutely useless...

@ Ryan - We experienced the same thing with Advanta. Also with Chase. I've also talked to small business owners who've been ruined by Bank of America and CitiBank. Makes me sick to see these big banks advertising on TV that they want to help America - when the truth is they are screwing us over - WITH BAILOUT MONEY!

In my opinion Jennifer its more important first to write your GOALS then OBJECTIVE then STRATEGY AND THEN TACTICS. Just work reverse and it works. However this all consumes more time because you need to narrow down your points over the time.

This one question is really a challenge. I tried doing it but frankly you can't restrict employees too much especially if their work is software based. One can have many tabs opened and closed in seconds and deleting browsing history in seconds.
I think it more important to control the productivity. I did that and it works. No internet on the machine that my employee works. Internet only on specific machines available in break time.
