We have the money. We just need to tax the ultra-wealthy more. The Top 1% of the wealthy of Americans have more resources than the bottom 90% of Americans combined. Ted, you should be more concerned with that. We DO have the resources for something so important as ensuring all Americans can get basic health care. The problem is that Republicans have allowed the wealthy to get the wealthier and the poor to get poorer.

We're not going to just lie down and take it until a constitutional challenge succeeds. This would be the first time I know of that our side would be putting the issue on the ballot, but as far as recourse under California law, we have no other choice.
