CONTEST!! In honor of the upcoming Labor Day weekend, a random commenter will win Too Wicked To Kiss! Just name a historical romance where the hero or heroine has a job! (Other than titles/parenthood, please. I agree that those also take lots of work, but for contest purposes, think paid positions--the more unusual, the better!) Enter as many times as you like until midnight on Monday the 6th, and good luck!!

    • Raynell Castillo, Elissa Wilds and 2 others like this.
      • Deanne Michele Plotts Does it have to be a romance that you wrote, or can it be any author? If any is ok, the how about "From London With Love" by Jenna Petersen. In that book the heroine is Meredith Sinclair, who has a secret job as an investigating agent. This is historical as well.

Maybe someone can help me? The heroine was Joan.. went by Joan the tiler, she was a noble that was in hiding... worked in a tile yard to survive and protect her brother. The hero of the story was Rhys the Stonemason, did mason work for the ...King with the pretense of spying on him. *sighs* I can even see the book cover in my head, just not the darn title. Other than the King one of the protagonist was Guy Leighton. Dam photographic memory is fighting me tonite.See More
