And now for the "traditional" bio (bleh!)... Proud Member of AEA, SAG and AFTRA. Currently residing in New York City, I was raised in San Diego, CA and have been acting and singing since the age of 9. My first role was as the gander in "Charlotte's Web" and this was only the first of many gender-bending and species bending roles! In fact, it wasn't until college that I started to do roles in my own age range, ethnicity and gender. Must have been the willingness to play and my wacky perceptiveness that got me those roles!
I received my BA in Theatre (Acting) from Pepperdine University, where I received the Mary Pickford Scholarship for Excellence in Theatre. Since then, I've landed several recurring roles on the hit TV series' "Veronica Mars" and "One Life to Live" as well as leading roles in independent feature and short length films. In addition, I have done countless work in commercials and industrials.
I have been fortunate enough to perform in some of the finest theatres in San Diego, New York, Los Angeles and beyond. Notable theatre credits include "The Last Five Years," "Suds, the Rockin' 60s Musical Soap Opera," "Oxygen," "Angels in America, Part II: Perestroika," "South Pacific," "Evita," "Camelot," "Avow," "The Wizard of Oz," "Pieces" (for which I won an Outstanding Performance Award), "Remains," "Wit," "King Lear," "The Sound of Music," "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat," "The Diaries of Adam and Eve," Living Together," "Macbeth," "The Good Doctor," "States of Shock," "A Doll's House," "Alice in Modernland," "The World is Round," and "The Czar of Nothingness."
While off stage or set, I work as a business/career coach for actors, helping through my company, The Actors' Enterprise - http://www.theactorsenterprise.org.
