There were at least 2 ATMs when we were there, but it certainly wouldn't hurt to bring some USD just in case anyhow. I agree - renting a car was easy and a relaxed way to see the island!

I have no idea about camping. I'm sure there are guest houses that will let you use a tent. I did rain almost the whole time I was there. The photo above was during one of the brief periods of blue sky.

You can also do a bike and get around pretty easily. The island isn't that big.

As for the ATM, I was there in May 2007 and the only one was right outside the bank. I ended up having to buy money with my debit card at a very high markup...like 20%

I think it's about the birth of royal children; I don't have my dictionary on me so I can't say for sure though
