Anyone else notice that everytime they change their PPC add copy that the traffic from facebook's own admin people (to check that your add and site are okay) counts as a click and costs as much as 50 cents?

I am concerned, puzzled and annoyed at the quality of the facebook ads that I see. Most of them are barely above the level of pyramid schemes and really don't belong on a site like Facebook.

1. Free MacBook Air (yeah, right)
2. We can show you all the people who have searched for you (technically impossible)
3. Jobs starting at $84 an hour (clearly a scam)
Facebook - I should not be forced to look at ads for obvious scams constantly nor should anyone else!

Southeast Community College
Lincoln School of Commerce
Is there anyway to add to the search engine? It would be helpful to be able to search for those majoring in a certain field. I think f/b would have better and more accurate information.

The real success lies in building a community of fans with a public profile, such that you can continue to have a conversation, provide offers, sell, learn, etc. In the example above, I would ... Read Morehave recommended advertising the Tim’s Tents public profile on Facebook, not trying to sell people that are on FB. Social media is a different space from search and people are not predisposed to buying when they are on FB. They are, however, predisposed to “fanning” a Page they like in a category they’re interested in, i.e. hiking. If you build it (the public profile / community), sales will come.

I did and spent more than you(per week), what do you sell and who is your target? The majority of people(simple Google search) have a very bad ROI. If there's a secret besides creating an amazing Facebook app that links back to your website, a lot of people would love to hear it...
