Held in partnership with Dorignac's Food Center, "A Bubbly Affair: From Champagne to Prosecco" will showcase over 25 sparkling wines from top producing regions. Wine experts will be in attendance to answer wine-related questions. Desserts will be served.
Cost is $25 per person. Tickets are available at Dorignac's (71...0 Veterans Blvd in Metairie). Tickets will be available at the door if event is not sold out. Must be 21 years of age to attend.

Fair Grounds Race Course and Slots Meet recently retired Times-Picayune columnist and horse-racing aficionado Angus Lind at a book-signing to benefit the permanently disabled riders fund on Saturday, November 14th. Angus will be signing copies of his new book, Prime Angus, near the gift shop and in the clubhouse. Proceeds from each sale will support disabled riders.
