Feeding America I'm on the left (Dan Michel of Feeding America, one of the contributors to this page) and Regional Kitchen Manager Michael of our partner, The Cheesecake Factory. Every year, The Cheesecake Factory sponsors Thanksgiving Dinners across the country for people who might not have a holiday dinner. I was able to help out in... the kitchen prior to the arrival of over 600 dinner guests.

Katelyn My school raises non perishable food items for those who don't have food on thanksgiving. This year our school colected about 2150 food items. I think every one worked hard to reach and exceed our goal if 1500 items beacause we offered an incentive. If we colleced 1500 items or more we would get a free dress day(our sc...hool has uniforms on a free ... See Moredress day we can wear whatever we want). So if you are trying to raise food money or other items for your school to donate to those less fortanate offer a priZe or something everyone wants. We raised I've 1000 more items then last year. Last year we didn't offer a prize or inventive.
