Recently, Festool introduced a new set of Centrotec Imperial drill bits with a countersink (496 942). These drill bits feature a spur-less design with beveled chamfers that cut cleanly and last longer. They are manufactured from HSS steel which is precision ground for precise hole drilling...

John T. Cooper I have recently returned to woodworking and contracting after a five year hiatus to write a novel. I stumbled over Festool products quite by accident. I will most likely replace most of my tools with the "system" that Festool provides. I am overwhelmed with the portability and accuracy of the TS 55/75 plunge cut saws ...and am now about to purchase several items. I am now a fan of Festool and especially the integrated dust collection systems.
