For the 19th consecutive season and the 20th time in program history, the No. 15/15 University of Florida volleyball team is among the NCAA Tournament field of 64, earning a bid to volleyball's version of the "Big Dance" announced Sunday.
Sophomore Jordan Jones (Suwanee, Ga.) scored a season-high 25 points and led Florida's three-point shooting barrage that helped the Gators defeat Florida International, 71-60, in the consolation game of the FIU Thanksgiving Classic on Sunday.
University of Florida Athletics Congratulations to the Gator Volleyball team, which has earned the No. 16 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament, and will host first and second round action on Thursday and Friday at the O'Connell Center. Stay tuned to GatorZone.com for more information.
