The University of Florida HHMI Science For Life Program, UF-NSF Chemistry Research Experience for Undergraduates, Morehouse College, Harn Museum of Art, Phillips Center for the Performing Arts and Florida Museum of Natural History invite you to participate in the 2nd Annual Creativity in the Arts and Sciences Event (CA...SE) sponsored by HHMI and NSF. This follows a successful inaugural 2008 event which drew over 150 art and science undergraduate student participants from across the US and nearly 1200 guests in attendance.

We are seeking undergraduate students from Furman University, Morehouse College, Emory University, Louisiana State University and the University of Florida interested in displaying original artwork, including visual, musical, dance and theatre performances, or scientific research posters.

A Science For Life Undergraduate Creativity Award will be given to two students, one in the Arts and the other in Sciences. This scholarship award can be used to attend a scientific meeting, professional conference, workshop, art exhibition or similar opportunity. When applying, you will be asked to describe how you intend to use your award.

Due to space and time limitations, all students interested in participating must first apply at http://sfl.chem.ufl.edu/index.php?link=creativity. Your application will be reviewed by faculty from both Morehouse and UF within the field of the material and you will be notified by December 15 as to your acceptance.
