Yes it really is, but we have to be here. One of us can't come and leave the other b/c then it leaves too much on one! It would be SOO nice to drop everything and just go, but we can't do that for a variety of reasons. Thanksgiving is also a WONDERFUL time to come home to your family and it's supposed to be very "season" like as far as the weather..Maybe even alittle snow later this week. I love you very much Kay! It won't in 2009. Tourism tax is down if I remember something like either 19 or 28 million dollars this year = so far

FYI sales tax and tourism tax are two separate things. Sadly they are both down. The % of sales tax collected from tourist spending, however, is critical to the state's budget.

Interestingly, while total sales tax collected dropped last year - the percentage of the total sales tax collected that were paid by visitors increased from 19% to 21%
