Kathleen Carey Ramper Guy, I love you and your 3 d show. I recently went to a restaurant in Pittsburgh, Pa, Big Jims. It was just awefull, we couldn't even eat the food! It was also very dirty. The only reason I went is because of your show. I just worry that people will quit watching if they actually go to the restaurant and it is as bad as this was. I have to say it did have an effect on me.

My 9 year old daughter, a future "Food Network Star", watches FN more than all the kid channels combined! She's been cooking since she was 2 & now cooks entire meals on her own from planning to presentation (including a talented narration) all with the exception of driving herself to the store and paying the bill :) My... husband & I cater & she's often in the kitchen happily slaving away with joy. Thank you for contributing in such a healthy manner to much of how she defines herself as a young girl & the feelings of self worth & validation she receives from her passion to create. Her growing culinary curiosity & knowledge continues to build her confidence & inspiration that she'll soon need to leave the cookbook behind for the freeing experience that comes from cooking solely with a creative & adventurous mind, and a heart whose ultimate fulfillment comes from pleasing others.
