I agree...this is absolutely unbelievable in 2010 that this kind of ignorance still exists. And these people are supposed to be "educating" our children...WOW!

Sandro Isaack This is the answer I got fro Water Street Music Hall -

Thanks for not using the form
letter. That is why I am responding. I agree that bad songs like this
does not help anyone. I have been assured that he will not sing the
songs in question. Unfortunately 40 employees depend on the money to
live. It would be a bigger inju...stice to not let them support their
families. Also he has played here at least 10 times and this is the
first time anyone has said anything about him to us. At the Buju show I
let the Gay Alliance put literature in the club to help improve
awareness and they are welcome to do so as well. By increasing
awareness of the situation, getting some press, the word gets spread
out in the community and actually could do some good. That was the path
the gay alliance and I took on the Buju show. I figure they will be
calling and I look forward to working with them.

You can also try an "I'm sorry you feel that way" letter. "I'm sorry you feel that way. I and many other are disappointed in this stand, and feel that it's insufficient to address the problem". If you plan to take any further actions, such as a boycott, mention it. Then be sure to ask that they let you know when/if their stance changes in the ... See Morefuture, as you would like to support them in the future, but simply can not do so now due to their weak stance. Assuming, of course, that you want to go further with it.

Seriously, being married on paper is just for the taxes it has nothing to do with any religion, thats why we have separation of church and state. Too bad these wacky conservatives dont get that and think separation of church and state means everyones churches EXCEPT theirs.

Until now, Johnny Weir has been snubbed by Stars on Ice. But the word floating around from trusted sources is that Stars on Ice DOES want Johnny. Except that, whispers suggest, they're being held hostage by one big corporate sponsor of the tour who does not want him. He's not "family-friendly."
