
Global Social Entrepreneurship Competition (GSEC) The results are in! After an outstanding turnout--161 applications from over 35 countries--a panel of judges are now reviewing the applications. GSEC thanks the 45 judges from UW, the Seattle community, and around the world who have volunteered their time!

Global Social Entrepreneurship Competition (GSEC) Nigeria, Costa Rica, Senegal, Mexico, Bangladesh, Spain, Morocco, Rwanda, Sweden, Japan, India, China, Peru...the list goes on and applications keep rolling in! We have an unprecedented global representation of GSEC applications this year!

Global Social Entrepreneurship Competition (GSEC) GSEC would like to thank its 2010 Outreach Parnters, the Africa Leadership Forum and the UW Humbert Humphrey Fellows who have helped recruit GSEC applicants. We already have a great turn-out from African students!

Hello everyone, i'm contacting you about a competition of fresh ideas on how innovative financing mechanisms can be used to solve development challenges. Proposals must be submitted by November 15th 2009, only online: www.fininnov.org.
The winners will be awarded pilot grants of up to US$100,000 to assist them in the im...plementation of their proposals. This competition is part of the International Marketplace on Innovative Financial Solutions for Development (2010 MIF) to be held in Paris on March, 4-5 2010. The 2010 MIF is co-hosted by the Agence Française de Développement (AFD), the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and the World Bank.
